    Hey Ashlee, I just got back from the sudden impact program and I heard your story. From what I heard today, my attitude about life in general has completely changed. It takes courage to be able to share your story and try and prevent people to go what you and your family has been through. Your story not only taught me about the consequences of drinking while driving, but inspired me to live each and everyday out to the fullest. You are truly a role model through all your actions and unselfishness. My prayers will go out to you and your family. Thank you for making me a better person.

    He Ashlee I just got back to school after learning about you in a sudden impact field trip I’ve got to say you are one heck of a person going through all of that and how you still try to reach out to kids like me to warn them the dangers of drunk driving you really opened my eyes to the dangers it causes so just thought I’d say thank you and what you are doing is making a difference

    Hey Ashlee! I heard your story at the sudden impact trip I took today, ever since then I couldn’t get your story out of my head! Its mind boggling to think that this could happen to anyone at anytime, even the ones who don’t deserve it. Your story hit home, I am also 15, a varsity cheerleader, and I couldn’t even imagine going through a tragedy as terrible as you and your family did. You have honestly made a huge difference in my life for sure and I’ve told your story to so many people I’ve seen today!!! This made me open my eyes and realize that this could happen to anyone and I love how you’re standing up and showing everyone! You are a truly remarkable girl, thank you so much! God bless πŸ™‚

    Dear Ashlee, my name is Jamal Jordan from Jesuit High School and we took our trip to the LSU trauma center. We heard your story and it impacted me greatly. After what happened you continued to stay strong which is remarkable to me. I’ve never had a role model, and now I do and it’s you. When I think of you I’ll remember how strong you are.

    ~~~~~
    Cold nostalgia chills my heart.
    But the memory of you is my warm start.
    I’ll sit on my front porch in the sunlight.
    I’ll stare at nothing all through night.
    When I think of you I don’t feel so alone.
    I swear my soul will reach into the past to roam.
    You.
    Hello to all the waist-deep thought.
    Wading in till warmth is caught.
    You are the tear, the laugh, the hug.
    The one I think of when alone behind a curtain rug.
    Rivers of sighs, singled out cries for help.
    Waving in the cold sea till you pull me like kelp.
    You.
    Oh, the dream of violet eyes on butterfly wings.
    Summer home in Puerto Rico sings.
    Breathing and you carry me away.
    To sleep till a better day.
    It is you that grew my knowledge strong.
    Like flowers in a garden they were tended till long.
    You
    ~~~~~

    And maybe you can shoot me up a text at any time (5049054326)
